Aquarian Sadhana

Aquarian Sadhana is a 2.5 hour traditional community practice of yoga and meditative chanting designed by Yogi Bhajan the master of Kundalini Yoga to support the evolution of humanity as it becomes more intuitive as a result of the shift from the Picean to the Aquarian Age. If you have never experienced Aquarian Sadhana, this is a great time to give it a try.

The Aquarian Sadhana practice includes a 20 minute chanting of the Japji, which uses the technology of the Shabd Guru. Sha – cut, Bd – ego, Guru – that which takes you from darkness to light. So Shabd Guru translates as mantra which cuts through your ego and takes you from darkness to light, from separation to oneness. This is followed by a yoga kriya (series), a relaxation and then 62 mins of meditative chanting of Shabd Guru mantras.

The Aquarian Sadhana practice attunes your gunas, your chakras, and your mind to the changes of the Aquarian Age. In this new age of humanity we will need intuition and stamina, of both physical and mental nature, together with self-awareness to help us master a new depth of spiritual experience. In this way we can hold our identity in the face of global changes, relentless competition, information overload, and the ecological and environmental challenges which accompany the collapse of egocentric Picean Age structures. This practice is by donation, every Saturday morning, 5am – 7.30am at Soul Flow Yoga
